Dog Shit in Public Places

KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE – KEEP THEM AWAY FROM DOG SHIT.

Hello dear readers, thank you for your support in trying to eliminate dog shit (dog muck, dog poo, dog turds, or whatever you wish to call it) in public places.    The safety of our children (and indeed ourselves!) is paramount.

This serious, essential, yet disgusting blog subject, should never have been necessary to create.

However, both inconsiderate, and careless dog owners, are still allowing their dogs to crap on public grassland where children (& adults) play games, in parks, on footpaths, on canal towpaths, and roads too, in fact, wherever they feel like leaving their pile of shit behind them!

There are an estimated  EIGHT MILLION  dogs in the UK,  and they drop approximately 1,000 tonnes of waste A DAY.

Never mind arguing about Brexit  –  let us debate  BANNING DOGS FROM PUBLIC PLACES.

Many people turn their noses up at this problem (Pun Intended!), and face the other way, when they observe somebody allowing their dog to poo in public, ignoring what is happening on a daily basis.

Other, more caring people, become rightfully concerned, and prefer to voice their opinions on my blog here:    dogshit.info   regarding Dogmuck / Dogshit problems, which is a Worldwide problem, and sadly, on the increase!

I hear SO many complaints about the amount of dog poo (dog shit, dog muck) being left along our lanes and walkways, and although everybody complains to each other, nobody seems to actually DO anything about it.

Members of the public have persuaded me to create a blog to raise awareness to the sadly increasing amount of dog muck being left behind, obviously due to the increasing amount of dogs being bred and lucratively sold to someone, who then proceeds to take the animals for their daily shit in the parks & on the public highway!

Please believe me, as a responsible dog owner myself for 15 years, there is nothing i would like more than to see children playing on clean grassland, and walking on footpaths (including canal towpaths) devoid of any dog shit.

This serious dog muck problem arises from the fact that it is not the DOG who causes the trouble, but the nuisance DOG OWNERS, who stand there and  watch  –  yes actually watch, their dog shitting on the grass!  

The poor dogs cannot read the many signs that the councils place around the countryside & towns, mentioning fines, and asking dog owners, to collect their poo and take it home.   Owners can read the signs, (most owners), but they prefer not to bother, as it does not apply to their dog, or to them, only to the general public!

Some owners are embarrassed about their dog crapping in public places, so turn their backs while their dog deposits its pile of smelly shit on the grass for people to step on.   Usually though, you will notice the embarrassed ones taking their dogs for a poo late at night, or very early in the morning, when there are not too many other people around to see them leaving their shit on the ground.

Why then, do people have dogs i ask myself?

Well  .  .  .  . 

Some people have dogs just to be trendy,

Some people have dogs for show,

Some people have dogs as pets,

Some people have dogs as guards,

Some people have dogs for companionship,

Some people have dogs to have sex with humans (heaven forbid, but yes its true, they disgustingly do!),

and sometimes, people even have dogs just for Christmas!  

Remember, the old posters,  “a dog is for life, not just for Christmas”.

Sadly, many dogs are left behind after Christmas has been & gone.  

They remain, depositing shit on the ground EVERY single DAY,  not just on the 25th of December, but for long afterwards, and rarely is it picked-up and taken away.

So come along good guys & gals, we need to club together (here on my blog) to try to instigate a ban on dogs in public places!
This severe ruling, seems to be the only way left to us, to eradicate dogmuck, dogshit etc, from being left on the ground.

Prior to the severe idea of banning dogs from public places, maybe we should lobby the Government to make it compulsary for every dog owner, to purchase Insurance , which could include implants in every dog, to not only display its owner’s name & address and check if the licence fee & compulsory insurance has been paid, but also the tracking of the dog, so its stopping & starting places (shitting), can be monitored like a vehicle tracker. This is exactly the same idea that our ridiculous Government want us humans to have on our person, like the Track & Trace! Thus as well as the Government knowing exactly where we are 24/7, they would also be able to know where & when the dog left its shit behind!

OMG. What a sad, pathetic state our World is heading towards.

If only all the dog owners would have picked-up their turds for the last few years, and acted like decent citizens, all this fuss about dog shit (dogmuck), would never have come about!

There are of course, many lovely points about owning a dog (more later), and one can certainly be very happy with one’s pooch.
